Vacant Position: Student Assistant PELP
The working section Moral and Political Philosophy, Institute of Philosophy is looking for
One Student Assistant in research, teaching and administration
(5 hours a week; expected employment for the period of 2 semester; position to be filled as of October 1st 2023)
Your duties
- Organization of events and meetings for PELP students
- Assisting the organization of scientific conferences and workshops (e.g., PELP Summer School)
- Maintenance of website and social media of the study program
- Supporting research, teaching and administrative activities of the Institute of Philosophy (editorial work on print and online publications)
- Graphical implementation of projects and website management and updates
- Researching scientific literature and media research
Your profile
- Ongoing Master program in PELP
- Excellent or very good knowledge of English and German
- Very good computer skills
Some of the following skills, experiences and abilities:
- Work experience in text production and editorial work
- Work experience in website maintenance and website development
- Experience in maintaining social media channels
- Experience in the area of graphic design
- Work experience and interest in organizing scientific conferences and workshops
- Goal-oriented and accurate working-method
- Reliability
- Team-skills and social competence
