Enrolment for the Double Degree PELP
Students who are interested in the Double Degree PELP and meet the admission requirements according to the curriculum or study plan can enrol for the Double Degree PELP in the usual way. You can find all the important information about enrolment on the website of the Department of Studies. However, you should also consult the Double Degree - Procedure and Application page.

Enrolment with a condition
Students who did not study Philosophy in their Bachelor's degree can also enrol for the PELP Master's degree. In this case, a so-called "condition" is issued, according to which they must make up a maximum of 30 ECTS credits from the BA program in Philosophy. If some ECTS credits have already been earned in the field of Philosophy as part of the previous degree program and can be proven, the scope of the condition is reduced accordingly. The ECTS credits required according to the condition imposed do not have to be proven at the beginning of the degree program, but at the latest by the time of the Master's degree.
The following procedure applies to enrolment with a condition:

  1. The student sends the application for admission to the Master's degree program together with all necessary documents (see the website of the Admissions Office) by e-mail to zulassung.master(at)uni-graz.at.
  2. Once the application has been received in full, it is forwarded to the Chairperson of the Curriculum Committee. He/she will send a statement back to the Department of Studies.
  3. The statement is forwarded to the study law lawyer.
  4. From there, the student then receives a letter to safeguard the right to be heard and only then their letter of admission, with which enrolment is possible.
  5. The student must then contact theAdmissions Office(zulassung.master(at)uni-graz.at) for the enrolment itself.
