Stays abroad and internships
Studying abroad
In addition to gaining personal experience, a stay abroad during your studies also offers the opportunity to further your academic education and get to know new approaches, methods, colleagues and topics, and therefore represents an enormous personal and professional enrichment. However, the choice to go abroad often depends heavily on the funding options available.
As part of the PELP Master's and PELP Double Degrees, there are various options for completing and financing a stay abroad.
Ruhr-Universität-Bochum as part of the PELP Double Degree
As part of the PELP Double Degree, a stay abroad of at least one semester at the Ruhr University Bochum is planned. The stay in Bochum is funded by the Erasmus program.

Internships in the PELP Master & PELP Double Degree
An internship is intended to provide orientation in possible fields of activity and is also an important qualification for later professional success. The internship can provide an opportunity to deepen interests and refine skills. The time and work invested pays off during the course as exciting practical experience and after graduation as professional experience and contact with potential employers.
The aim of the internship is to apply the skills and knowledge acquired in the PELP course, to train key professional qualifications such as organization, presentation, communication, writing, conceptual and analytical thinking, teamwork and independence, to align expectations and to make contacts.
In the PELP degree programme, internships are not required as part of the compulsory subjects, but can be recognized as part of the free electives. Information on the procedure and extent of recognition can be found in the link provided. The CuKo chairperson is responsible for recognition.
